Nathan Pickett Films Rocks!

So we had Nate from Nathan Pickett Films come with us to the Utah State Fair to do a Family Video Session. It was so much fun! I am seriously amazed at what a great job he did for us and I am so happy with the way it turned out! This is something that he is now offering individually, or you can add it onto your family photo shoot! Click HERE to book your family session now and add on a fun video from Nathan Pickett Films for $200. Also, when you book a family session, you will receive 25 FREE Christmas Cards! I am so excited to watch this over and over again! I loved how it turned out so much. I hope you enjoy it too!

Welcome Nathan Picket Films!

I am so excited to announce that Nathan Pickett Films has joined us here in our Bountiful Studio! He is an AMAZING videographer doing some of the most cutting edge stuff in the industry. Having a wedding video along with your wedding photos is SO important because it allows you to relive your wedding day and to remember the feelings you felt. Nathan not only shoots weddings, but he shoots 'Date', 'Bridal', 'Family' and any other type of video you want! Check out this incredible Date Video Nate did with one of our couples Orrin and Kelsie. It is so cute and really shows their sweet relationship. Check back soon for a Family Video he did for me, my husband and our baby at the Utah State Fair! Ask about our combined photography/videography wedding packages we are doing with Nathan Pickett Films. You will be able to save a lot by booking both of us for your big day!

We currently have more space available in our building and would love to have other wedding vendors or other businesses join us! We will post more info later.

BIG WEBSITE PROBLEM!!

BIG WEBSITE PROBLEM!!

If anyone has tried to send us an inquiry e-mail through either our wedding or family website in the last month, we have not received it :( We just found out that our website company had messed up our contact page and we haven't been receiving those inquiries.  It has now been fixed, but if you tried e-mailing us anytime from April 8th-today, we are NOT ignoring you.  We just never got the e-mail.  So please try again!

Photo Shoot of the Month!

Congratulations to Andrea! She won our first monthly "Shoot of the Month" contest. Each month, I will choose the photo shoot that stands out as being the most creative, unique and exemplifies all of the elements of a great photograph. This month I chose Brenda and David's engagements taken in Nashville, Tennessee! These two are HOT and Andrea did such an amazing job with them! Please leave your comments and tell me what you think of them!

Big Beat Battallion!!

If you have seen our new Senior Website lately, then you have heard this song "Shake It". It is an original song by The Big Beat Battallion out of Las Vegas and they are awesome! I absolutely love their music! It's just good clean rap!  I met Jeff (of the BBB) and his wife Suzanne a few years ago doing their family portraits in Vegas.  Now, two years later Suzanne is actually our newest Lindsay Jane photographer and she is amazing! You can check out the BBB HERE and our Senior website HERE.

Nick & Chelsea on Conan O'Brien

I shot Nick and Chelsea's wedding back in May of 2007. They were so much fun and over the past couple of years we have kept in touch. Recently, they went to New York City to visit some family and decided to go to the Conan O'Brien Show. Check out this hilarious video of the taping!

Lindsay Jane is back!

I am finally back into the swing of things since having my baby boy at the beginning of December! Here's a little re-cap of his growth from his first day in the hospital, to now at 12 weeks old! He is so much fun and I've really enjoyed spending so much time with him. I am really excited about this year. We have such an awesome group of photographers now and we are constantly training and enhancing our skills together. We have expanded now into California, Las Vegas and now Nashville, Tennessee (my home state!). We have already reserved a lot of weddings and are anxious to reserve YOUR big day! It's going to be a great 2009!

Love this picture of Andrea!

The girls

This was so funny because Evaly had no idea that her umbrella had turned inside out because of the wind. She just kept shooting! She was really not used to this kind of weather!
Photo Contest at Main Street Pizza!

The winning shot of the week! Congratulations Andrea!
The morning after - beautiful blue skies! What the heck?!

Every time we do a new round of hiring, we put on a photography "boot camp" for the girls to do some crash course training on all aspects of photography. This was our second attempt at it. We headed up to Midway and stayed in our timeshare for the week so we could really focus on photography without any distractions. I think it went really great! All of the girls are newly hired except Evaly who has been with us for a while but lives in California, so we wanted her to be involved in this boot camp. They all did so awesome with their shoots. We had some absolutely crazy weather up there - we didn't see the sun all week, until the Friday morning when we were packing up to leave, it was a beautiful sunny day without a cloud in the sky! I guess we should have waited one more week to do it! Oh well, it was so much fun!
